If you’re a first-timer, you’ll be surprised to learn that you don’t have to wake up at the crack of dawn to hunt. Shooting hours begin at midmorning. It’s good for pheasants and hunters. It affords the birds the opportunity to feed, rest, and take in some grit along the gravel roads — and it allows you to fill your coffee cup. The hunt will begin soon enough.

Since the first time I hunted with the Jorgensen’s, my idea of a good day of pheasant hunting will never be the same…the bird numbers must be seen to be believed! I love this place and I love these people.
